Brownies, but keto. We thought brownies were impossible without refined sugar or flour. Not the case. We’ve found the perfect ingredients in the perfect quantities so you don’t have to bother. Take the stress out of baking and claim these brownies as your own.

1. Get yourself some eggs, (or a vegan substitute) and coconut oil or butter.  2. Follow along with our video recipe3. Get some keto jam, get some double cream, and remember what dessert was like.

323g bag (2.7g net carbs per serving)

Ingredients

Ingredients: almond flour, sweetener: erythritol* & steviol glycosides**, cocoa, gluten-free baking powder (monocalcium phosphate, corn starch, sodium bicarbonate), vanilla powder

* naturally found in fruit

** only the most delicious part of the stevia plant

made in a facility that handles nuts and peanuts

How do we calculate our net carbs?

Net carbs = Carbs minus fibre minus polyols.

Fibre and polyols are not digestible, so aren't counted towards you daily carb count for keto.

In the UK, fibre is already subtracted from the carb figure on the label (unlike the US). So you just have to take the carb number and subtract the polyols.

What are the benefits of keto?

People talk about a whole variety of benefits from eating keto, but here are some of our favourites:

  • an increase and stabilisation of energy levels (kill the afternoon lull...)
  • decreased hunger
  • a drop in blood sugar levels and some other bio markers
  • improvements in mental clarity
  • weight loss

Of course, there is more than one way to do keto and everyone will react differently. We've written about the benefits in a lot more detail here.
